The Ural Mountains (Urals) are 2,640 kilometers (1,640 miles) in length and extend from the northern-edge of the Russian Federation down through Kazakhstan. They form a natural border between Asia and Europe. The highest point is Mt. Narodnaya at 1,894 meters (6,214 feet).
