The Brooks Range of Mountains extend 1,100 kilometers (700 miles) from Northern Alaska to Canada's Yukon Territory. Highest point is Mt. Isto, 2,760 meters (9,060 feet)

The Brooks Range forms the northern-most drainage divide in North America, separating streams flowing into the Arctic Ocean and the North Pacific.

The Brooks Range is one of the most remote and least-disturbed wildernesses of North America.
