Whenever you're climbing, judged or not, the last thing you need is slick hands, so keep well-chalked when you carry Metolius's Competition Chalk Bag. You won't have to struggle to reach your chalk when you reach in around its stiff rim that stays open as you climb, nor will you lose your chalk once you tighten the drawstring.

Features:

  • Keep things tidy with the fleece lining that prevents chalk from escaping
  • Keep your chalk accessible thanks to the stiff rim that stays open while climbing; a drawstring seals it up tight when not in use

I bought this bag because i needed one that a larger hand would fit in and it worked out perfectly. It was large enough and the drawstring doesn't get stuck like the one on my other chalk bad does.

Decent

The chalk bag is quite a large bag, but not too big. If you have big hands then it will be a perfect fit.

The chalk bag keeps chalk in well.

The string of the drawstring started to fray after a few uses. It doesn't seem like the string is going to last very long. but we'll see--I've only had it for a few weeks.

Pretty Good...Standard +

This chalk bag makes me happy.

Q. I have larger sized hands so it helps that it is a decently deep bag (but not too deep/cumbersome)
R. The dual belt loops do their job to keep the bag in a vertical position for ease of ambidextrous access.
S. The drawstring does it is job.
T. The belt is generous and does what it is supposed to do with its simple plastic clip.
U. Solid stitching and well laid logo paired with (in my opinion) a really cool design. <-- I got the Navy Corduroy pattern.

The only thing that would make this bag better is if it had a pocket for tape. Obviously this is not a major issue or I would not have bought it.
Just hit the button.. Add to Cart.. I don't even mind if you get the Blue one ;-)

Decent

Decent chalkbag, good size for what I climb. My local gym uses these as rentals for the bouldering wall, and it was my first chalkbag that I ever used. The drawstring keeps the chalk where it should be, in the bag.

Exactly what i had wanted
