Moosejaw The G12 Crampon by Grivel is a classic 12-point crampon designed for general mountaineering, alpinism, mixed ice and rock climbing, and moderate waterfall routes. The four points that are perpendicular to the crampon rails, prevent shearing in soft snow and improve security while descending (facing outward). The crampons are fully adjustable by hand, without tools and one size fits all. G12 is easily folded for transportation. The G12 crampon is delivered with the Antibott included.

Great mountaineering crampon.
Barry at Eastern Mountain Sports (EMS) on 03/03/2008 Rated: Used these in the Whites, New Hanpshire. This year the front points on the G12 seem to be reduced. For mixed climbs with lots of ice more front point would be advantageous. Great in the mountains.
Excellent item!
Zappa at Eastern Mountain Sports (EMS) on 01/01/2008 Rated: These are some excellent crampons. Replaced my G10's with the classic binding with these. Between the combination of the New Matic bindings and my Koflach Vertical plastic boots the speed of getting into and out of these crampons is unbelievable. Climbed Wright Peak in the Adirondacks with these last week in the rain/sleet and the peak iced over with 50mph winds and was able to summit safely. Wouldn't have made it without. This is the best piece of gear I have bought in the past year and thats saying a lot.
Grivel Crampons
Chuck at Eastern Mountain Sports (EMS) on 11/11/2006 Rated: I have used the the G10s in the past and wanted to update with the G12s. They are a high quality brand although I haven't used or owned any other brand. The G10s I had took a beating and continued to be functional.
